Virtual Instruction

This past year has thrown out some pretty major changes. Everyone has had to learn to adapt in many ways, and Titusville Regional Literacy Council (TRLC) was no exception. TRLC is excited to say that we now offer virtual instruction for those unable to attend in person or for those who just feel more comfortable participating at a distance instead of meeting face-to-face and risking close contact during this time.

Services offered virtually include the following:

Remote Assessment

If you have the technology available, you can take the entry-level assessment required for you to enter the program from the comfort of your own home.

Remote Instruction

Adults meet virtually with TRLC instructors to improve basic skills like reading, math, grammar, or writing. They study for tests such as the GED, ASVAB, Driver's Permit, Citizenship, CNA, LPN Entrance Exams, and much more. They learn job search skills such as answering interview questions, writing a resume or composing an effective cover letter.

Virtual Parent Education

Parents or caregivers learn how to transfer skills they have learned during adult education to their children through everyday activities and play. They also have the chance to learn about subjects important to parenting like emotional control, behavior management, improving socialization skills, and much more.

Virtual Interactive Literacy Activities (ILA)

Adults and children in the same household come together with TRLC's Early Childhood Educator to read, play games or do crafts or activities proving that parents are a child's most important teacher and that learning through play is FUN!
